Secret Suppers are long table gatherings complete with fresh seasonal fare, beautiful surroundings, and great company. The suppers are meant to celebrate the season in every possible way—through sight, sound, texture, and taste. They combine the beauty of nature with the bright fresh flavor that it provides us with each passing season. I co-host Secret Suppers along with Danielle Firle of Tendue and Mona Johnson and Jaret Foster of Tournant.
Danielle is the brains of the organization and Mona and Jaret bring their incredible culinary gifts to the forefront of each supper. They specialize in wood fire cooking. This is why we can host these dinners in any location at any time, rain, sleet, or snow. They don’t need a kitchen to create an intricate and delicious 5-course meal. They just need a spot on the ground where they can get a rip-roaring fire going. The Secret Supper menu is planned in line with the location and season. This is so that the flavors you taste are harmonious with the sights and sounds around you. You take all of this in as you enjoy your meal at a beautifully set table alongside folks who are equally passionate about good food.
So, why are they secret?
Every Secret Supper is in a new breathtaking location, and the exact address is only disclosed to attendees a few days before the event. (When you purchase tickets, though, we let you know the general area of the supper so you can book nearby lodging if you’d like). You can read more about them at SecretSupper.co . You can also sign up to be notified when ticket sales open at the bottom of the homepage. We’d love to have you pull up a seat at our table!
