Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • 1 cup edible flowers

Instructions

  1. Bring the sugar, honey, and water to a boil over medium high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes until the sugar has dissolved. Remove and allow to cool to room temperature.
  2. Add the lemon juice and edible flowers to the syrup mixture. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 24 hours. Strain and reserve the cordial. Keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator and enjoy within 2 weeks. It tastes especially refreshing on ice mixed with sparkling water.
